I just found out about Rhoda passing away. I rented the apartment next door from Rhoda for 9 years. I always told her that she was like my second mom. I will never forget her.

Hi Rhoda's family, I just learned of your mom's passing. I am so sorry and so saddened. She always meant a lot to me. I looked forward to running into her at the Mendham cemetery where your family is buried and my parents. Ever spring when it was time to plant I would always visit their site to see just what she planted. Always the favorite colors. Last year when I paid my annual visit the flowers were not there. My heart sank. Well this spring when I come to do my planting, I will be sure to place a flower on your moms site. Rhoda was a wonderful mentor to me growing up . She was always so endearing to me and I admired her strength and perseverance . We enjoyed laughing on our beach chairs and watching the sunset at Moms View! I always remember her dressing up at Halloween and surprising us ! My prayers are with Alyssa and Rhonda . May she rest in peace with all her loved ones in heaven ! A true angel who I will dearly miss .

I grew up with the Radtke’s and Rhonda and I have many crazy stories - we have accrued during our teens. Rhonda was always the apple of her Father’s eye. We would tease her about it. Rhonda has a huge heart and took wonderful care of her Mom. It wasn’t easy for her but she did it with Grace. Her sister Alyssa is also wonderful with an equally huge heart. Be a comfort to each other as only sisters can be. Much love and my condolences, Sheila Hayden

Thank you Sheila. I remember some of those crazy stories from back in the day! And some from when we worked together at Holly Manor but we won’t go into them now. :). Thank you for coming on Thursday. Mom was smiling down, I’m sure!

Rhoda was one of the most sweetest ladies i have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She must have been very modest, i had no idea of all the wonderful things she has done in her full life.
