Obituary of Catherine M Blum

Catherine M. Blum passed away peacefully on Sept. 23, 2022 at home in Mendham.  She was 78.

Born in New Brunswick, NJ  to Catherine MacNair nee Foley and Samuel MacNair, she lived in Lansdown, PA and Torrance, CA before moving to Mendham Township in 1972.

Catherine received her RN from St Mary's School of Nursing, her BSN from the University of Pennsylvania, and her MS from Jersey City State University.

She worked as a school nurse for Randolph High School for 20 years before retiring in 2008  

She was a member of the Mendham Garden Club, the Mendham Township Book Club and the Mendham Golf and Tennis Club.

Cathy is remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew and loved her.

She was predeceased by her brother Schuyler MacNair.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years Steven Blum, two sons Daniel S Blum and Bryan S Blum both of Colorado, a daughter Leslie C. Stephenson of Mendham and daughter-in-law Rebecca Blum of Colorado..  She is also survived by 3 grandchildren Michaella Stephenson, and Katelyn and Alyson Blum.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 3-6 pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd, Mendham, NJ 07945.  Funeral Mass Tuesday 10:30 am at St. Joseph Church Mendham.  Interment Mendham Hilltop Cemetery, 18 Hilltop Rd,  Mendham..
