Obituary of Mary A. Mercurio

Mary A. Mercurio died peacefully on Nov. 5, 2011, at Morristown Memorial Hospital. She was 89. Born in Mendham, she was a lifelong Mendham resident. Mary worked at Mendham Paint and Hardware for many years and later at the Mendham Bakery. She was a lifetime member of St. Joseph Church in Mendham. She was an avid bingo player and loved to take trips to Atlantic City. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband Louis, her daughter Frances and 6 brothers. She is survived by two sons Louis Mercurio and his wife Pat of Morris Plains, and Dennis and his wife Colleen of Canadensis, PA., six grandchildren, Thomas Potts, Maria Lepore, Kristin Horstman, Anthony Mercurio, Amy Fritz and Dale Galanti.; 5 great grandchildren Ashley, Brendan, Domenic, Gianna, and Giovanni. She is also survived by one brother Liber Panella of Mendham and two sisters Carmella Bocchino of Mendham and Rose DiFalco of Morris Plains. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-8 pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham. Funeral Mass Thursday 10:30am at St. Joseph Church Mendham. Interment St Joseph Church Cemetery.
