Obituary of Robert Gerard Previdi

Robert Gerard Previdi passed away on September 11, 2022. He was 62 years old.

Born in Passaic, NJ on August 20th, 1960 to parents Robert and Ann (nee LoSasso) Previdi, was a loving husband and father to three. He was a parishioner of St Joseph Church in Mendham.

Robert “Bob”, found joy in spending time with his family and closest friends as well as people from all walks of life.  Bob only cared about the character of the man, rather than the means of the man. Bob’s greatest joys in life came from the simple celebrations and easy day to day life he spent with his wife and children, whom he adored. Some of his favorite times were spent with his family and close friends, on the golf course, living in Naples Fl and on Long Beach Island NJ. Bob enjoyed golfing with his friends and family, playing a winning game of poker, spending time and fishing on his boats, swimming with his children in the pool or the Gulf of Mexico, attending their sporting events, dance and vocal recitals, school plays, cooking with them, taking them to the driving range or even mini golf. Bob enjoyed travel with his closest family members and made some of favorite memories on his annual trip to The Point in Upper Saranac Lake. He loved dining in great Italian restaurants and enjoying a bottle of wine, especially with his late father-in-law. Bob could often be found on a Sunday afternoon during football season cooking dinner, while watching his beloved Philadelphia Eagles play. Bob enjoyed cooking, often taking over the kitchen or the grill, and enjoyed sharing his meals with family and friends, even delivering care packages of food to those closest to him. Bob was a master storyteller, filling his tales with great detail, sometimes to the point of excess, but always had people laughing at the end.  Bob was an avid sports fan, having grown up in Mt Laurel, NJ, loved all Philadelphia sports teams.  Bob was a tremendous animal lover, having rescued many cats and a few dogs over the years. Bob’s compassion for other people, especially those less fortunate or struggling was evident in everything he did with his quiet philanthropy. Bob never wanted the recognition, all he wanted to do was give someone “a leg up “or make their life more meaningful, which he often did in the simplest of ways, including paying for education, remodeling homes for those needing handicapped access, offering financial assistance to those less fortunate and in need of help paying bills and helping friends between career changes. His generosity knew no bounds.

Bob, having attended and graduated from Rowan University, was a highly accomplished entrepreneur his entire life. He enjoyed great success in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry having started his early career at Squibb & Company, moving to Abbott Labs where he lived in Chicago and worked in marketing. He left Abbott to go to work for his father’s agency, at the time called TMM, before venturing off on his own to start PSKW. Bob was a pioneer in the healthcare industry, having started PSKW, a company devoted to developing patient assistance programs for prescribed pharmaceuticals. Today, PSKW, now called ConnectiveRX, is a leader in physician communications and patient support services with offices throughout the United States. In addition, Bob expanded his scope in the healthcare field by starting Novos Growth Partners, a collection of companies offering creative commercialization solutions to clients in the pharmaceutical sector. Over the course of his career Bob was profiled in several industry journals and won numerous awards including E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year. In addition, Bob had successful ventures in commercial real estate as well as owning restaurants and a wine store Morristown, NJ.

As an avid golfer Bob belonged to Roxiticus Golf Club in Mendham, Trump National in Bedminster and Tiburon Golf Club in Naples Florida. He also belonged to La Playa Beach and Golf Club and The Port Royal Club, both in Naples, Florida.
