I had the honor of working with As-Salaam on and off since he came to Matheny. I will always remember his bright eyes that smiled at you and his joyful smile. He lit up the room. I adored his singing. It made him so happy which you couldn't help but smile when you saw how happy he was. He was a sweet boy and grew into such a loveable young man. He will be deeply missed. I'm wishing the family peace in knowing he he free of everything that held him back in this life. I think he will be dancing and singing in heaven.
