Obituary of Michael Matthew Domanski, Jr.

Michael M. Domanski, Jr. "Matty", passed away on April 28, 2022.  He was 80 years old. 

He was born in Morristown, NJ to parents, Mary (Bocchino) and Michael M. Domanski, Sr.  He graduated from Bernards High School in 1959.  He was a parishioner of St. Brigid's R. C. Church in Peapack. 

Matty is survived by his loving wife Gail (Gould) of 56 years, his daughter, Michelle and her husband Chris, son, Michael and his wife Kate, grandchildren Gary and Jacki Howell and his brother Gary and wife Lisa.  He is predeceased by his parents and brother Larry.

Matty was an avid sportsman who enjoyed fly fishing, shooting trap and golf to name a few.  He enjoyed watching and sharing his children and grandchildren's sports and hobbies, from dancing and horseback riding to lacrosse and soccer.  He loved knife making (155 lifetime knives) and birdwatching with the gang at Merrill Creek Reservoir.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 3, from 2:00 to 6:00pm with a Funeral Service at 5pm, at the  Bailey Funeral Home, 176 Main Street, Peapack, NJ 07977.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Matty's memory to Catch-A-Dream Foundation by texting "Matty" to 71777 or mail to 2485 Ennis Road, Starkville, MS 39759 or Ennoble Care-West at 2 University Plaza, Suite 204, Hackensack, NJ 07601.
