Obituary of Christine Wrede Tepke

Christine Tepke slipped into Gods loving arms on Oct 17, 2011 with her children and family by her side. She was 46 years old. Christine was born in Morristown N.J. and lived in Millington, Summit, and Bedminster before settling in Bridgewater to raise her family. Known as Chris to her friends, she attended Watchung Hills Regional High School and Katherine Gibbs School of Administration and was employed by the Somerset County Vocational High School at the time of her passing. Chris was a wonderful and loving mother to her two children, Paige and Nolan, a lover of gardening and inventive cooking, and a dear and trusted friend to all who knew her. Chris was also very active in her children's academic and athletic endeavors. Christine is survived by her children, her parents Henry and Virginia Wrede, sister Lauren Crowell-Nugent, brothers Douglas and Kenneth Wrede, Aunt and Uncle Martha and Harold Wrede, cousins Peter and Paul Wrede, former husband Craig Tepke and his mother Ilse Tepke, as well as many dear nieces and nephews and devoted friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Oct 23rd from 1-5pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham, NJ. A private entombment will be held on Monday. A memorial service will be held on Monday at 1pm at The Presbyterian Church of Pluckemin, 311 Rt. 202/206, Pluckemin, NJ.
