So many memories over the years. Rick became one of “the boys” over 40 years ago when Sharon introduced him to us in New Brunswick. We could tell immediately that Rick had a huge crush on Sharon, and, when she said to us, “This is Rick” we knew it was mutual! In the years that followed, we enjoyed lots of poker, good food, fun Christmas gift exchanges, more food and finally – their wedding! Rick shared Sharon’s love of animals, adopting abandoned and feral cats, mice, deer, a bear (!) on Fairview and all other critters that knew they were a soft touch! We will miss Rick’s cooking (especially the corned beef and truffle pasta!) and hearing him say, “Get out, Get out, Get out!”, when it was Girls weekend and we hadn’t left on time! Rest easy dear friend, we’ve got Sharon so no need to worry. Lots of love from The Girls – Martha, Kathy and Nancy

Quite a few memories and good times over many years, not the least of which was your wedding day. Poker night was thankfully not too expensive for me, because, amongst other poker-impaired issues, I somehow did not grasp the concept of folding at that time so many years ago when I was living in NJ. Being a big fan of the universe, I was duly impressed and quite envious of Rick's star gazing prowess --- I will now be remembering Rick fondly when I look up at the stars. Gone too soon, my friend. My deep condolences to Sharon and your family and many friends. I'm very glad to have known you, Rick. With love and fond remembrance, always ... Steve

Lots of memories, too numerous to list here. For many years the house on High Street was the social nexus of our small group of friends. Video games, poker games, NYE parties, giant roasts in the oven, great times. RIP Rick. Here is Rick, John Polack, and Don Becker making wine, 1992.
