John Louis “Jack” Noe, longtime Bedminster resident, passed away at home on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. He was 87 years old.

Jack was born in Summit, NJ, to John A. and Ruth Noe and lived in Chatham Township and Far Hills before settling in Bedminster more than 50 years ago.  He was a man of faith and was a parishioner of the Lamington Presbyterian Church in Bedminster. Jack graduated from the Pingry School in 1952 and the University of Vermont in 1956, with a major in business and finance. He was also treasurer of Acacia Fraternity. Upon graduation Jack served in the Air Force as an air traffic controller at Mitchell Air Force Base in Long Island. He married Jean Mackenzie in 1957. After an honorable discharge he worked for The Kemper Group in Summit, NJ, for more than 30 years. He spent most of his summers and vacation time with his family at their beloved cabin on Lake Wallenpaupack in Pennsylvania, where he enjoyed swimming and boating. He was very involved in the Bedminster Cub Scout troop as a cubmaster and troop committeeman. In retirement he and Jean spent part of the winter in St. Augustine, FL, and enjoyed travel together.

Predeceased by his sister, Carol Noe Crouse, Jack is survived by his wife, Jean, of Bedminster; son Scott S. (Barbara) Noe of Tewksbury Township, NJ; daughter Lynn Day Noe of Chesapeake, VA; grandchildren Daniel Noe, John Noe, Randy Johnson, and Erin Johnson; great-grandson Lewis Noe; and brother Robert Noe of Vero Beach, FL.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 2, from 4-6 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, 176 Main St, Peapack NJ. Private interment will be at Fairmount Cemetery in Chatham, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center in Madison, NJ.
