Where do I begin and how do I possibly capture the full impact that Sister Marietta has had on my life from the first day I entered her class when I was 8 years old until this very day as I approach 53? Sister Marietta became a significant infuence on me spiritually, academically, and personally since our first interaction. Throughout the years, no matter where she was missioned, she sent me cards for Christmas and my birthday, as well as periodic letters, and kept me informed of the happenings in her life and her family. Most importantly, she prayed for me each and every day, and those prayers certainly have been sources of grace and sustenance. Sister Marietta lived her life with a warm smile and twinkle in her eyes every day despite the physical ailments and sufferings she experienced over many years. She was faithful to her religious consecration and accepted change with an open and giving heart. When you were one of hers, she became part of your family and she made you part of hers. My dearest Sister Marietta, "you are ever a part of life. All the good you have shared will live on in my heart." I love you forever and sincerely thank you for all you have done for me and are to me. Rest now in light, love and peace in the arms of your Beloved Jesus.
