When my daughter and I moved from our home after my husband passed away I could not take our family dog with us. Dave helped me with the move and I could see he loved playing with Teddy. On a whim I asked him if he wanted him. I think It was the best thing I could have ever done for them both. Teddy went from being a house dog to a dog “on the job.” Although it was hard for my daughter to part with her beloved dog, seeing Teddy up in the front seat of the Mendham Concierge truck with Dave so happy and obviously so loved prove that this difficult decision was the right thing to do. They were inseparable. We kept in touch over the years. I’d bring Teddy little gifts and always check in. Dave was scheduled to help me again the day before he went into the hospital. When I didn’t hear from him I knew something was wrong. I was devastated to hear of his passing. I will always remember him as a kind, generous and deeply caring guy who loved our dog as much as we did and more… and now they’re reunited.

Dear Margaret and Michael,
Our hearts just ache for you. David was such a kind and honorable man. Too young! Too soon!
David will be in our daily prayers as well as you both. May God somehow help you bear your pain. We truly believe Roger was there to meet and be with David as he came home.
Our deepest sympathy

Though I only knew him to do business with his company Mendham concierge, I will miss David! He was full of life, energy and the spirit of cooperation.

Very sorry to hear about Dave's passing. I remember that he managed the dairy department at Kings. A really kind and friendly gentleman.

We are so sorry for your loss Dave was a friend to all of our children as he “hung out” with them especially our sons. We will always remember how polite and respectful he was. With our deepest sympathy Tom and Peggy Berenbak
