Obituary of Eunice M Lee

Eunice M. Lee passed away on August 5, 2021. She was 99 years old.

Born to John and Lillian (Hoffman) Patrey, Eunice was raised in Chester and remained a lifelong resident. A Protestant woman, Eunice sporadically attended the First Congregational Church of Chester.

Eunice was active in her community. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Chester Fire Department, served on the Ladies Auxiliary for the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Committee, and was also involved in the Chester Historical Society. She worked for over 10 years as a cashier at the ACME in Dover, as well as in the Chester School District, where she operated as a cashier and a volunteer in the library.

Eunice is predeceased by her loving husband, Arthur E. Lee, her son-in-law Michael Jones, grandson Christopher Jones, and her brothers and sisters. Eunice is survived by her daughter, Robin Jones of Lake Hiawatha, NJ, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 10, from 4-7 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd, Mendham NJ 07945. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 11, at 10:30 AM at the Bailey Funeral Home, Mendham. Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Chester. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eunice’s memory may be made to Chester Volunteer Fire Company at 86 Main St, Chester, NJ 07930.
