Obituary of Vito Telesco

Vito Telesco, 89, a lifelong resident of Peapack, NJ and owner & operator of the Telesco Beauty Shop at 95 Main Street passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021. 

Vito graduated from Bernardsville High School in 1949.  He served in the US Navy during the Korean War. 

Vito leaves behind three brothers and sisters-in-law; Vince and Nancy, Don and Christine, Joe and Jessie and his sister Mary Wasmucky.   He was predeceased by his parents Theresa and William Telesco, his sister Fannie and brother-in-law Al Wasmucky.  Vito was a beloved uncle to Cathy and Carol, Vinnie and Terri-Lyn, Joanne and David, Mike, Johh, Gina and Karen. 

Vito was a volunteer fireman for Peapack-Gladstone Fire Department for 60 years and was a member of the American Legion as well as a dedicated parishioner and usher at St. Brigid Church.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 21^st from 6-8 pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 176 Main Street, Peapack, NJ.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 22^nd at 10:30 am at St. Brigid Church, 129 Main St, Peapack, NJ followed by Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, 145 Mt. Airy Road, Basking Ridge.
