Obituary of Patricia A Sweeney

Patricia Sweeney passed away on June 4, 2021. She was 64 years old.

Born in Morristown, NJ, to parents Frederick J and S Mary (Giannini) Sweeney, Patricia grew up in Mendham, NJ, and attended and graduated from Mendham High School. She settled in Bedminster in 1979 and made it her home.

Patricia worked as a receptionist for both Lucent Technologies and NECA, both telecommunication companies located in Morristown. She loved to travel with her sister, and visited places all over the world, enjoying trips to Italy, Switzerland, France, and Germany. She and her twin sister Mary Jo were best friends for sixty four years. They had the best of times together. Patricia will be dearly missed by her  sister along with her family, co-workers, and many friends.

She was predeceased by her father Fredrick J. “Mike” Sweeney Jr., mother Mae Sweeney, and brothers Timothy and Michael Sweeney. Patricia is survived by her twin sister, Mary Jo Swanson and her husband Thomas of Pawleys Island, SC, brother Frederick "Turk" Sweeney III of Tewksbury Township, NJ, and nephew Robert Swanson of Pawleys Island, SC.

A celebration of Patricia’s life will be held at a later date.
