Obituary of Eileen Geraghty Havas

Eileen Geraghty Havas passed away on May 21, 2021 at home in Randolph.  She was 81.

Born in Morristown, she lived in Brookside before moving to Randolph in 1967.

Eileen was a Manager for Jersey Central Power & Light for 36 years before she retired in 1997.

She enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City and was active in many Veterans Organizations with her Husband Gerry Havas over the years.

She was a longtime member of St. Joseph Church and was married in the chapel at St. Joseph Church in 1967.

She was predeceased by her husband Gerry Havas in 2011, brothers John Geraghty Jr. in 2005, Frank Geraghty in 1998, Hugh Geraghty in 1994, and sisters Mary Quick 2004 and Sheila Hare in 2010. She is survived by her sisters in law Audrey Geraghty of Morristown and Joan Geraghty of Easton, PA, and many (many!!) nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She will be greatly missed. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 25, from 6-8 pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd. Mendham.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 26, at 10:30 am at St. Joseph Church, Mendham.  Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Chester.
