Obituary of Hazel Marie Waldron

Hazel Marie Waldron, nee Blaine, of Mendham passed away Monday, May 3, 2021.

Hazel was born in Chester, NJ on March 8, 1925 to the late Joseph and Edith (Parks) Blaine.  She leaves behind her loving companion of 24 years, and childhood friend of 89 years, Timothy E. Pierson of Mendham.

She spent most of her working career in the banking industry, retiring in 1976, to welcome her first grandchild and begin enjoying that phase of life.

Throughout her life, she enjoyed travel, crocheting, needlepoint, and time amongst friends on Lake Hopatcong.  She was fiercely independent and outspoken, a force of nature who will be dearly missed by those who knew her.   

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Stuscavage of Frankford Township, NJ, her son, Thomas Moke of Chester, NJ, 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.  

She is preceded in death by her son, Michael Moke, her brother, Ernest Blaine and her sister, Ida Blaine.

At her request, there will be no services.
