I have known Jim since 2004 when he was the global account manager for VMware covering Citi. Since that time we had developed a friendship outside of work, and would get together for dinner or drinks whenever we could. Jim had a big personality, and was an absolute pleasure to be around. The only thing bigger than his personality, was his greatness as a person. A genuine and caring individual, that never hesitated to ask about how you were doing, no matter how good or bad his day was going. Once he got to know you, he always took an interest in you and your family.
A proud and dedicated family man, who when asked about his family, was more than happy to talk about them and tell you how lucky he was to be blessed with such a great family.
My condolences go out to Pat, Connor, Colin, and Sean. Jim will remain in my thoughts and prayers.
I have made a donation to "Hope For The Warriors" in Jim's name.

I had the pleasure of being work-wife partners with Jim for the last 3 years. He was a consummate professional, personal guy, and just plain fun to spend time with. A few months back we had a re-org and were no longer a team, but we kept in touch. We last spoke a couple weeks ago while he was in the hospital, and the first thing I said to him was "I really miss you Jimmy". That rings true now more than ever. My condolences to Pat, the boys he loved so dear, and the rest of his extended family.

Jim was one of the best account reps in the whole industry. Genuinely a friend to his customers, and caring and generous to everyone he met - from doughnuts for the security guard in the morning, to taking care of wait staff at the end of a night.
He always had a great story, and good advice. We looked forward to him coming in, chatting about family, food, skiing, traveling and fun outside of work. The lovely family pictures confirm that he was just the same at home as he was at work - never happier than being with a fun group, with a smile on his face, and a drink in his hand.
I'll miss him greatly. He was one of the very best, and I send my most heartfelt condolences to his family.

My cousin Jim was an amazing person. He cared deeply for those he loved. To be engaged in a conversation with him at a family party I always felt that he truly cared about what I had to share and I felt lucky to be in his presence.
He was always kind, gracious and so smart. I will miss him all the days of my life.

I am fortunate and blessed to have known and worked with Jim at VMware. A beautiful spirit that was taken far too soon. He touched many and will be remembered for being genuine, unselfish and someone we all highly respected. One thing is for certain, Jim made a difference. Sending peace and comfort to his family.

Jim and I worked together for 12 years at Vmware and in that time became as close as brothers. He was a brother to me and a mentor. His love of family and friends was an inspiration. We shared great times and traveled the world together. Including this photo of us at the Turnberry Ailsa Course in September of 2018 - a picture I will cherish as much as the event itself. Thanks for the memories brother. I love you and will miss you always. - Travis

I worked with Jim at VMware, although it was the times we would see each other at the PastTime Club, Black Horse, or at the carnival in town that I treasure the most. He would always greet me with a great big smile and a handshake that would almost break your hand! We would catch up about work for about a minute or two, then talk about our families and how proud he was of his boys. I am glad I had the opportunity to have known him and have called him my friend.
