Linda LoCascio

Obituary of Linda LoCascio

Linda LoCascio passed away peacefully on October 30, 2020 at St. Barnabas Medical Center.  She was a vibrant 67.

Born in Jersey City to Eugene and Florence (nee Feeney) Petrick, she lived in Jersey City and Waldwick NJ and graduated from Bergen County Tech for Cosmetology. She lived many joyful years in the Poconos of Pennsylvania before settling in Byram Township NJ for 21 years.

Linda was caring, hardworking, and made an impression on everyone who got to know her. Throughout her life, Linda cultivated a large circle of friends around her, always enjoying good times, shopping, and socializing. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family and always served up a delicious home-cooked meal. Her family and friends will never forget her famous homemade coffee cake, raisin bread, or Christmas cookies. Always ready to offer a piece of advice, Linda was endearingly known for her tell-it-like-it-is approach and one-liners, like “It Is What It Is” and “This Too Shall Pass.” She loved long conversation, trying out new recipes, and shopping a good sale. Linda was spirited and easy-to-love and will be deeply missed.

Linda is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years, James A., her sons Steven (Lori) and James M. (Danielle), daughter Kelly LoCascio, grandchildren Cassidy, Parker and Chase LoCascio and her sisters Barbara Germond and Janice Hatch.
