Obituary of Edward M McFadden

Edward McFadden passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 21, 2020.  He was 84 years old.

Born in Newark, NJ, to parents Charles and Mary (nee Carr) McFadden, Ed grew up in Vailsburg and lived in South Orange before settling in Bedminster in 1996. He was a devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Elizabeth Church in Far Hills.

Ed graduated from Providence College in 1958 and was an active member of the Alumni Association, having served some time as President, NY chapter. He was a Regional Sales Executive for Sprint North Supply for 35 years.  He was an avid golfer and founding member of the NJ National Golf Club.  Ed enjoyed his retirement years doing crossword puzzles, reading and spending winters in Florida.

Ed is predeceased by his siblings William, Helen, Charles and John; and first wife Ellen.  He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Charlotte, his children Mary McFadden, Andrew McFadden, Amy McFadden, Jennifer (Chris) Kittel, and Julie (Allen) Levine, and grandchildren Ellen, Claire, and Christopher.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 26, from 4-7 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, 176 Main St, Peapack NJ.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 27, at 10:15 AM at St. Brigid Church, 129 Main St, Peapack NJ.
