Obituary of Mary Cacchio

Mary Cacchio died on Friday, July 8, 2011 at her home in Mendham. She was 99. Born in Mendham she was a lifelong Mendham resident. Mary was a Nurse for Dr. Bowers and then a Dental Assistant for Dr. Freer in Mendham for many years before she retired. She spent her life giving to others. She was a Charter member of the Mendham Township Ambulance Squad which began in 1969. She was a member of the Mendham Garden Club, St. Joseph Church, and volunteered at Morristown Memorial Hospital. She was a 35 year Breast Cancer survivor. She was predeceased by her brothers, Anthony, Michael, Daniel, Rocco, John, Angelo, and Joseph, her sisters Margaret and Elizabeth. She is survived by 20 nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday July 16, 2011, at 10am at St. Joseph Church, Mendham. Interment St. Joseph Church Cemetery.
