I remember Steve as being a kind and caring person. He was smart, and a very talented athlete , always friendly . I grew up in Mendham and went to school with Steve. I often walked home from Hilltop school with Steve and anyone else walking down Mountain Avenue. I knew about his struggles and often thought about him over the years . My deepest sympathy to Sharon and Ernie. Sincerely, Lynn (LeMonnier) Richter

I remember Stevie Blaine quite fondly from college at NC State. He played soccer with my college sweetheart, Pete.
He was funny & friendly & always had a twinkle in his eye & a smile on his face. He had a kind & gentle heart & was really quite endearing. Everybody liked him :)

I was very sorry to hear this sad news. I served mass at St. Joseph's with Steve a few times when my brothers weren't available and played basketball with him in high school. He was a terrific athlete. My sincere condolences to his family.

I remember him as a kind kid, good athlete. We played baseball together back in the day. I remember him being open about his feelings, at least a couple of times with me, which is remarkable in a young man of the age he was. I'm sorry to hear of his passing.
