Doris R. Panella passed away peacefully on July 3, 2011 at Holly Manor in Mendham, NJ. She was 91. Born in Phillipsburg, NJ she lived in Mendham for 60 years before moving to Chester in 2001. Doris worked at Robinson's Drug Shop for 20 before her retirement. Prior to that, she and her husband Joe owned and operated the Mendham Soda Shop on Main St. for 21 years. Doris will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband Joe in 1993 and her son Timothy in 2008. Doris is survived by her son Joseph and his wife MaryAnn of Mendham, her daughter Joan Cresitello of Long Valley, her daughter Jackie Garris and her husband Dan of Chester, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held on July 9 at 9:30 am at Saint Joseph Church, Mendham. Interment will be private.
