Obituary of William J. Lounsbury

William Lounsbury passed away peacefully at home on November 14, 2019.  He was 76.

Born in Morristown, NJ to Cyril and Clara (nee Kozan) he lived in Hopatcong before moving to Bangor, PA in 1983.

He worked for the Steam Fitters Union Local 475 in Warren, NJ for 41 years before retiring in 2006.

He was an avid historical firearms collector and was a longtime member of the Forks of the Delaware Historical Society and the Parker Brothers Collectors Association.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the great outdoors.

He is survived by his former wife Pamela Lounsbury (nee Luthmann), four sons; James (Jill), Joseph, Jason and Jonathan, his brother Richard (Kathy), and his 10 grandchildren; Jared, Haleigh, Kaleb, Lily, Devlen, Ireland, Tiernan, Casey & Ian.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 18th from 5-7pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Road, Mendham, NJ.  A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 19th at 1030am.
