I met Mike over 35 years ago in a very awkward manner. Practically every time that we got together, we would share that interaction and we would both agree that it was fate that brought us together. I loved him dearly as his values are ones that I can only hope to accomplish in my own life. He loved and adored his wife and his family, never bragged about himself, loved his friends and held them all in high regard. Every time that we parted company, we would always say to each other, "I love you, your'e my good friend". Since I will never hear those words again from him, they will remain a cherished memory. I told a mutual friend just the other day that when you shook Mike's hand, you were shaking the hand of Prince. Miss you buddy, I love you, your'e my good friend and thank you for making me a better person.
