Obituary of Julia A. Fondaco - Hasbrouck
Julia A. Fondaco-Hasbrouck passed away on October 16, 2019. She was 72 years old.
Born in Morristown, NJ, to parents Joseph and Ann (nee Cillo) Fondaco, Julia was raised in and has lived in Mendham for her entire life. She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Mendham. Julia began working as the Treasurer of Mendham Borough, and through her drive and determination, made her way to Chief Financial Officer for Morris Township.
Julia, when she wasn’t busy with her work, was attending meetings for the Mendham Seniors, spending time with her family, cooking delicious meals, or crocheting afghans for her friends and loved ones. She was a dedicated worker and took regular continuing education classes for additional certifications for her career.
She is predeceased by her loving parents, Joseph and Ann Fondaco. She is survived by her son Craig (Olga) Hasbrouck of Mendham, sister Phyllis (Robert) Case of Morris Plains, brother Anthony (Nina) Fondaco of Bedminster, grandchildren Alexander, Nina, and Nicholas Hasbrouck, many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and the large and loving Cillo and Fondaco families. She will be missed by all.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18, from 4-7 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd, Mendham NJ 07945. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 19, at 11 AM at St. Joseph Church, W. Main St, Mendham NJ 07945. In lieu of flowers, donations in Julia’s name can be made to the Market Street Mission, PO Box 1937, Morristown NJ 07960.
