Obituary of Julia Dombrowski

Julia “Judy” Dombrowski passed away at Holly Manor Center on October 3, 2019. She was 95 years old.

Born in Morristown, NJ, to parents Carl and Frieda Whitmore, Julia lived in Florida where her son David was born to Allen DuBois. She returned to New Jersey and settled in Wharton in 1956. She worked for Transistor Devices in Dover before retiring. She then worked at the County College of Morris nursery school as an aide.

She loved having gatherings at her home for family and friends, driving scenic backroads, and taking bus trips to Atlantic City. Her hobbies included crocheting, working on puzzles, and playing scrabble.

Julia is predeceased by her husband, the late Stanley Dombrowski, her two sons, David DuBois and Steven Dombrowski, and her daughter-in-law Shirley DuBois. She is survived by her sister Grace, grandchildren Michael and Terri DuBois, great-grandchildren Alan, Ian, Owen, and Trinity DuBois, and Daniel DeFilippo and Lucia (Glen) Breslauer, great-great-granddaughter Siena Breslauer and her adopted daughter Kasturi Kolluru and her family.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 1pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 156 Mountain Rd, Ledgewood, NJ 07852
