I was a student at SMSH. I graduated in 2013, same year she retired. I kept thinking about Ms. Adamack all these years while studying at Florida International University. I remember how she embraced me during those difficult first years after immigrating from Cuba. She gave me so much self security when I needed it more. She told me that I could conquer the stars if I wanted to. She surprised me once by having a photo of both of us in her desk. I feel I didn't do much and still she gave me so much love. I felt very honored.
I was trying to search for her to communicate again, until I learned she passed away. It brings me so much sadness! This makes me realize that life happens to you even if you try to wait for later. I offer my most sincere condolences to her loved ones. I will always remember her with the beautiful dresses and matching earnings, and with her beautiful smile. May her soul rest in God's peace.
