William S. Day, Jr. (Gus)

William S. Day Jr. 58, 33 East McFarland St, Dover, NJ past away Sunday morning Jan. 20, 2019 at Morristown Memorial Hospital Morristown. Gus was born in Mendham, NJ, April 17, 1960. Son of the late William S. Day Sr. & Iris P. Day, he was a 1979 graduate of West Morris Mendham High. Gus enjoyed many outdoor activates such as fishing and spending time with the love of his life Sylvia Nyiri of Dover, NJ. In addition to his parents, Gus was preceded in death by his nephew Bryan Mathew Day, Elysburg, Pa. Gus is also survived by his two older sisters Sandra L. Overton of Sarasota, Fl and Patti Price of Sacramento, Ca and one younger brother Charles (Matt) Day of Elysburg, Pa, as well as 4 nephews and 3 nieces. 

Memorial visitation will be held in Mendham on  Saturday, May 11th from 10-11am with a Memorial Service at 11am in the Funeral Home.  Interment to follow at Mendham Hilltop Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to: Our Place Inc., 51 Washington St., Morristown, NJ 07960 www.ourplacenetwork.org
