Dr. Saradarian was a wonderful doctor. He used to see my dad many years ago at 6 am before he went to work. He was my own doctor from a child until I moved in 86 at 26. The man was a genius with a wonderful sense of humor. Prayers for his family.

What a wonderful doctor he was, and such a funny, good and thoughtful man!
I and my family adored him. He was my eye doctor for forty years!
And... he made baklava!
We will miss him so much!

I worked for Dr. Saradarian for 15 yrs. He was a great Doctor. He could also be a lot of fun. He always needed help with his cars, I can not count the times he would call me in the a.m. to come to some spot and pick him up because the car stopped running. He would send me on crazy errands to find something he needed for the birds, the cars or for something that had been discontinued years ago.I enjoyed working for him and being considered his friend. He will be missed.

I will always remember the kindness and gentleness Dr. Saradarian extended to my son, Richard Zaleski. Richard had many treatments at 26 Madison and NY Eye and Ear trying to save an injured eye. Dr. Saradarian will always hold a special place in my memory.
Please accept my sincere condolences.

A loved one's passing, especially someone as wonderful and loved as Ed, would be so much more difficult without the confidence that tonight, Ed, with every good man and woman before him, is enjoying peace and joy beyond all understanding.
He made it. While we can all look forward with anticipation to seeing him again, I know it doesn't lessen the sting of such a loss. To have been loved by so many, to have the respect and admiration of all who knew you is truly the sign of a life well lived. May God bless Ed, and may His peace be upon Cornelia, Tara, Shannon, Kathy, Beth and his loved ones until you meet again.

Sorry I could not attend today's ceremony at Bailey's. Please accept my sincere condolences. I have known Ed since 1981 when I joined David Zenker's practice across the hall from Ed, at 26 Madison ave. What a gentleman he was, honest, sincere, jovial, fun, available to everyone... and a great ophthalmologist. I have not seen him since his last day of work when we said goodbye on the parking lot. He was resigned to retire although not so happy about it, he liked work so much. Told me he was concerned about this new phase of life... He always liked to start work very early in the am... (was it 6 am? I can't remember), his secretaries didn't like that too much and at some point convinced him to start a bit later!!! He obeyed them!!! I'll remember him in the winter with his fur jacket... only him could pull that off! He knew I loved his cars, everybody loved his cars. My patients always commented on them. I always had to explain they were not mine, although I may have lied once or twice. Always left the keys on the ignition and told me many times: "if you have a few minutes, go ahead for a spin", I regret not to have taken him to his words; I was too scared to crash the Packard, the Jag, the MG, the Studebacker, the English taxi...! I'll miss him, I am very sad, but let's remember that he brought so many good things to so many people. And again my sincere condolences to all of all of you. Didier Peron
