Obituary of Nancy King

Nancy McCormack King passed away on December 3, 2018.  She was 86 years old.

She was born in Morristown, NJ to Charles Roxbury McCormack and Mary Louise Totten. She graduated from Hood College.  Nancy used her art education and talents throughout her life. Painting, sculpture and paper mache were among her favorite media. She used these talents often to make decorations such as for the antique show at the Pottersville Fire Company. 

Nancy loved to garden. Flowers and color were important. In early years she worked as a florist. 

Nancy is predeceased by her late husband, Robert Worthen King. She is survived by her children, William King and Cameron King, and four grandchildren.  She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend to many. 

A visitation will be held on December 6th at 3 pm at Bailey Funeral Home, 176 Main Street Peapack, NJ. A service celebrating her life will follow at 4 pm with a reception to follow nearby. Interment will be at the Oxford Cemetery in Oxford, MD where she will be laid to rest next to her husband and near her parents on Saturday, December 8th at 2 pm.
