The Gardner family sends our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Stefan. Personally, I cherish my memories of Stefan. We met at the Honey Harvest three years ago and I was immediately struck by his huge smile, warm and firm handshake, and engaging personality. It didn’t take long to converse with Stefan about a range of subjects – and to encounter his well founded logic and deeply seated beliefs. We argued about some subjects but still respected each other, laughed and embraced. Stefan was born in Croatia, loved American, but he was truly a citizen of the world. I admired him for his wisdom, ethics, heart, and his love of family – wonderful traits that he and his Nela have passed down to the next generations of Terkoviches. We are all richer and better people because of Stefan - may his presence continue to provide comfort and guidance.

Mere words cannot express how grateful I am to you and your beautiful Nela that you were there for our family whenever we needed you. You helped raise my son Milan from infancy and I give you both credit for the wonderful man he is today. We were extremely blessed to have you in our lives through good times and bad. We are forever indebted to you for your kindness. Rest In Peace in Heaven dear friend.❤️
