I lived and still live in North Brunswick as-well as taught in the NB school district ,I was truly sad to learn about this sad news.Mrs Petrocelli was truly a wonderful person who as a Board member in North Brunswick was well respected as-well as her husband,Mrs.Petrocelli was always thinking about the kids.The North Brunswick School Community mourns her passing with sincere sympathy ,May God Bless ! I had the pleasure of meeting Anne several years ago when she hosted a Brazilian boy through our organization; he was the son of a student she and her husband hosted many years before. She was a wonderful woman full of life and good will for all. Her love for education was unsurpassed. She will be missed. My heart is very sad for her loss. My deepest sympathy for her family.

Ann was a guiding light at Franklin High School. She showed the rest of us what a true teacher should be. Not only did she treat all the students as individuals with differing learning styles but she also mended kids' clothes and even cooked for them. When she decided to retire it was a long process. You see, Ann wanted to see prospective replacements interact with the students and make sure she was leaving them in good hands. After one sample class, she walked into my office and said "This one will work. He's a storyteller." And, confident that she was passing the baton to someone who would see the strengths and weaknesses of each student and adapt to his/her needs, Ann retired. It will be a different world without Ann here in her physical body but her spirit and the wisdom she passed on to her students and colleagues will live forever.

My mother and father Sal and Ida Pianettini would tell me so many wonderful things about you. when my Son went thru the hurricane she donated to help them also which was such a beautiful gesture. I hope I can be the example of a woman that she was and will always stand for. God bless.
