Obituary of Victoria Lynne Ross

Mendham - Victoria L. Ross died suddenly on March 31, 2011 at home. She was 63. Born in Buffalo, NY to the late Arthur and Lillian (Romanowski) Pond on December 27, 1947, she was a resident of Mendham for 21 years. Previously she resided in Fair Haven NJ. She was a homemaker, and a volunteer for Literacy Volunteers of Morris County, through which she taught English as a second language. She was predeceased by her brother Peter in 2008. Mrs. Ross is survived by her husband of 40 years, David; two daughters, Jessica Rogers (and her husband Russell) of Hillsborough, and Laura Ross of Mendham; a brother Paul Pond of Ontario, Canada; a sister Michelle Pond of Overland Park, Kansas; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Road, Mendham, NJ 07945 (973) 543-4720 www.baileyfuneralhomes.com Funeral services will be on Wednesday, April 6, at the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Mendham Hilltop Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to International Rescue Committee, Compassion International, or the Salvation Army in her memory. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
