Obituary of Ann Sarsten

Ann Elisabeth Sarsten (Rodberg) March 6, 1935 - March 19, 2018
Ann Sarsten’s passion for life was only surpassed by her love and devotion to her family, her husband, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. While married for 65 years to Jan Arthur Sarsten, she lived abroad in many countries and had five adoring children; Peder, Paul, Philip, Lisa and Taya.

Not only was she a gypsy by nature who soaked up the local flavors of the countries she lived in, she made friends wherever she went, often giving unsolicited advice.

She was an avid gardener who dreamed of spring plantings throughout the winters when she wasn’t skiing or traveling. She never passed up a chance to go to a thrift store or a garage sale and made us all laugh with her excitement. She will be truly missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting her.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 1-3pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Road, Mendham NJ.
