Obituary of Thomas J. Wiggins

Thomas J Wiggins, Sr. died peacefully at home in Mendham surrounded by his loving family. He was 81. Born in Irvington, NJ he lived in Mendham for the last 40 years. Mr. Wiggins was the President of the T.J. Wiggins Electrical Construction and Maintenance Inc. in West Orange for over 60 years He was also an entrepreneur, owning various businesses in commercial real estate such as the Orange Armory LLC. His family will remember him as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who was always seeking an adventure. He was known as the problem solver always willing to do whatever it takes to help family and friends. Survivors include his wife Ilse Kottmann Wiggins of Mendham, two daughters Mary Lou Vogler (William) of Hazlet and Patricia Anne Kiely (Lawrence) of Randolph; Three sons Thomas Wiggins Jr., (Francine) of Long Valley, James Wiggins (Ann Marie) of Randolph and Steven Wiggins (Amy) of Chester; He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren and Six great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm a the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham. Funeral Mass Thursday 10:30am at St. Joseph Church Mendham.
