Obituary of Madeline L. Butler

Chester Twp: Madeline L. Butler died on Sunday Jan 25, 2009 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. She was 101. Born in New York City, she moved to Chester in 1934. She was a homemaker. She was active in St. Lawrence Church in Chester and was a member of the Rosary Society. Her husband Henry L. and her son Donald and her brothers Richard, Howard, Jack and Arthur Thompson and her sister Evelyn died previously. Survivors include One sister-in-law Evelyn Thompson of Mendham, one niece Terry Koeniger of Hackettstown; two nephews Stephen Thompson of Hackettstown and David Thompson of Long Valley. She is also survived by several grand nieces & grandnephews and great grand nieces and great grand nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 9-10am at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham. Funeral Mass Thursday 10:30am at St. Lawrence Church, Chester.
