Oliveira died peacefully on Oct. 16, 2010, at King James Care Center in Chatham. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010, at St. Anthony R.C. Church in Belleville at 11 a.m. Entombment is at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, N.J. Arrangements are by the Bailey Funeral Home of Mendham. Born in Para, Brazil, Mrs. Oliveira came to the U.S. in 1928, and settled in Newark. She lived in Watchung, N.J., for 40 years before moving to Manchester, N.J., 15 years ago. Mrs. Oliveira was a homemaker. Surviving are her daughter, Arlene Pomar and her husband, John McCarthy, of Morristown; her brother, Fernando Dos Santos of Jupiter, Fla., and two sisters, Celeste Caetano of Belleville, and Zuleide Rodrigues of Manalapan.
