David Fernandez passed away peacefully at his home in Chester surrounded by loving members of his family. He was born in Spain and came to the US as a young boy. He spent the early years of his life in Newark and later moved to Chester to live with his sister Mary Rodrigues and her husband Joe Rodrigues. He is predeceased by his father Jesus Fernandez, his sister Mary Rodrigues and her husband Joe Rodrigues, his sister Carmen Mas, and his brother Joe Fernandez. Survivors include his sister Encarna of Spain, his nephew Rod Rodrigues and his wife Janice of NJ, his niece Elizabeth Jacubowsky of PA, and many other nieces and nephews in Spain and the United States. He is also survived by his devoted care givers, Patty and Paola. Visitation will be held on Friday Aug. 6, 2010 from 12:30 to 1:00pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham.
