GLADSTONE - A memorial mass for Eugene L. Salvia, who died on July 19, 2010 will be celebrated on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at St. Brigid's R. C. Church, on Main Street in Peapack at 1:00 PM. Mr. Salvia was a former highway engineer for the State of New Jersey Department of Transportation. He retired in 1980. He served as the Construction Official, building inspector, and zoning officer for the Borough of Peapack and Gladstone He was also a member of the planning board, and a member of the Borough Historical Preservation Commission. Mr. Salvia was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth Ohms Salvia on March 15, 1998. He is survived by his daughter Margaret Gould and her husband Phil of Bloomsbury, 3 grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
