Obituary of Elsa M. Schuetz

Elsa Schuetz passed away peacefully on May 26, 2010 at Clover Rest Home in Columbia, NJ where she had lived for the past 10 years. Born Elsa Maria Sekinger on July 13, 1913 in Schramberg, Germany she immigrated to the United States in 1950 and lived in Mendham, NJ for 40 years prior to moving to Port Murray, NJ and then Columbia, NJ after the passing of her second husband. She is pre-deceased by two husbands, Josef Hettich who died in 1943 in WWII and Karel Schuetz who died in 2000, as well as her parents and two sisters, Clara and Erika. She leaves behind a sister, Martha Adickes living in Florida and eight children: German Hettich in Shippensburg, PA; Marianne Wirsching in Waxhaw, NC; Manfred Hettich in Flanders, NJ; Clarissa Moratto in Houston, TX; Karl Schuetz in Chester, NJ; Sonya Tiger in San Antonio, TX; Yuergen Schuetz in Flemington, NJ; and Yasmin Rega in Tewksbury, NJ. Elsa also leaves behind 18 grandchildren and 7 greatgrandchildren. A Mass of Remembrance will be held in the Chapel of Mary Immaculate at Mallinckrodt Convent located on the grounds of the Sisters of Christian Charity Motherhouse Campus at 350 Bernardsville Road, Mendham, NJ on Sunday, August 8th at 8:00 a.m. Arrangments by the Bailey Funeral Home of Mendham. www.baileyfuneralhomes.com
