Doris B. Hamilton died on June 14, 2010 at in Wall, NJ. She was 80. Born in Elizabeth she lived in Brookside and Dover, NJ before moving to Allenwood, NJ in 1986. Mrs. Hamilton was a secretary for her father's firm Briscoe Motors in Morristown. She was also a secretary for Schiff Scout Reservation and County of College of Morris before she retired. She was a graduate of Morristown High School. She was a past member of Brookside Community Church and the Hilltop Presbyterian Church. She also served as a Den Leader for Cub Scouts in Brookside and played the piano at many elementary school functions. Her husband Burr Hamilton died in 2004. Survivors include her former husband William Hazen, Sr., of Morris Plains, two son Drew Hazen of Morristown, and Richard Hazen of Budd Lake. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren, Michelle, Richard, Jr., Dawn, Billy, Heather, Danielle, Erin, Kelly , and Michael. Her family will remember her as a loving wife mother and grandmother. Visitation will be held on Friday from 7-9pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 12 Noon in the funeral home.
