Obituary of Kelly-Ann Grimsley

Kelly Ann Grimsley passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. She was 46. Born in Brooklyn NY April 10, 1964, she lived in Levittown, NY, and Chatham, NJ before moving to Mendham in 1995. After a brief career as a legal secretary in Manhattan, Kelly spent the remainder of her life as a devoted mother to her five children. Kelly was very active in the Mendham Borough Home School Assoc. and the Twin Boro Bears Cheerleading Squad. She contributed and volunteered her time to many local causes, committees and activities that her children participated in. Survivors include her husband Richard Cooper, her mother Ingrid Cassese and her step-father Ben, her Children Ricky, Benjamin, Emily, Sarah (Hogoboom), Billy (Cooper) and step-daughter Jamie Cooper. Her siblings; brother Robert (Marti) Grimsley of CA, sister Diane (Barry) Goldberg of Bayshore, NY, stepbrother Gregory Cassese of Brooklyn, and step sister Jennifer (Jason) Zoppel of Lakewood. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and very dear friends. Her love of life, laughter, family and smiles will be missed by all. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham. Funeral Mass Saturday 10am at St. Joseph Church Mendham.
