GLADSTONE - Edna Marie Briskie died suddenly at home on May 21, 2010. she was 71. Born in Easton PA, she previously resided in East Bangor PA, and Hackettstown before moving to Gladstone 40 years ago. She was a sales clerk with the former Ames Department Store in Flanders for many years before her retirement. She was a member of the Ladies' Auxiliaries of both the Somerset Hills Elks Lodge #1983 BPOE and the Somerset Hills American Legion Post #216. She enjoyed expressing her creative talent in making ceramics, and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, George Briskie Sr., her son George Jr. and his wife Eugenia of Gladstone, two daughters, Michele Hoernlen of Hackettstown; Ginny Trebilcock and her husband Mark of Marshals Creek PA; her brother Michael Caiazzo of West Virginia; her sister Betty Albert of Pen Argyl PA; six grandchildren and three grandchildren.
