Obituary of Frank J. Lenar

Frank J. Lenar died peacefully on Friday April 9, 2010 at his home in Williamsburg, VA. He was 64. Born in Budapest, Hungary in 1946, Frank moved to Belgium in 1957 before immigrating to the United States in 1959. After graduating from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a degree in Business Administration, Frank and his brothers founded Essex Fence Company. He lived in Mendham for 22 years before retiring to Williamsburg, Virginia in 2008. Besides his wife Lois of 40 years, who lives in Williamsburg, Frank is survived by his beloved son David Lenar of Morristown, NJ, and his two precious daughters Aimee Lenar Crooks of New York and Karen Lenar Winn of Boston. Other survivors include his two brothers, George and Loci Lenar, and his two sisters, Rose LaForte and Babi Tinger. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchild Riley Catherine Francis Crooks. He will long be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father, a caring brother, a loyal friend, and a lifelong soccer fan. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday April 13, 2010 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Church, Mendham and interment at Mendham Hilltop Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Myeloma Institute for Research and Therapy, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, 4301 West Markham St., Slot 816, Little Rock, AR 72205-9985.
