Obituary of Marilyn Mae Hahn

Marilyn Mae Kugler Hahn of Basking Ridge, NJ, daughter of Ida Morris and Jonathan Hunt Kugler, died on April 1, 2010 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. She was born in Somerville, NJ in 1925. Mrs. Hahn was predeceased by her husband of Forty seven years, Gerald D. Hahn, who died in 1990. Mrs. Hahn graduated from Somerville High Scholl and attended Plainfield Secretarial School. She worked in payroll at Diehl Mfg. Co. in Finderne, NJ during WWII and after her marriage lived in High Bridge, Clinton, Flemington, and Concord, N.H. before moving to Mendham. She was also employed in the offices of the Hunterdon Democrat and Hunterdon Medical Center until her retirement and then worked briefly for Hospice and volunteered at the Medical Center. Mrs. Hahn was a member of the N.D.E. ( Near Death Experience) group of Farmington, CT. She was also a member of North Hunterdon Senior Writer's Workshop in Bunvale, NJ. Mrs. Hahn was a published author. She is survived by a sister, Thelma Allen of Basking Ridge, a niece Pamela Helwig of Donalsonville, Georgia, and two nephews Jim Allen of Hillsborough, NJ and Eugene Allen of Allentown, N.J. She has several great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 6, from 2:30 until 3pm at The Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham. Funeral Service 3pm in the Funeral Home. Interment Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge.
