Obituary of Teresa M Lanigan

Teresa M. Lanigan, 94, passed away on February 25, 2010, at her son's home. Visitation will be held on Sunday Feb. 28, 2010 from 3-7pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham. Funeral Mass Monday 10:00am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Bernardsville. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge. Born on Nov. 13, 1915 in Elizabeth, NJ, Teresa lived most of her life in Rahway and Cape May before moving to Basking Ridge in 2006. In her younger years, Teresa worked for the Community Chest in Elizabeth and later as a Secretary for the Board of Education in Rahway. In Cape May, she worked 18 years as a Volunteer for Burdette Tomlin Hospital. Teresa was an active communicant and contributor to St. Mary's Church, Rahway, St. Raymond's Church, Cape May and Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Bernardsville. Teresa will be greatly missed by all those whose hearts she touched. Teresa was the loving wife of Charles A. Lanigan who passed away in '92. Survivors include one daughter Carol Dooley and one son Robert. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
