Obituary of Sr. Mariella Moore

Born in Lawrence , MA, she received her Holy Habit on August 21, 1954 and professed her perpetual vows on August 20, 1962. Sister Mariella received her BA and MA degrees in English from Seton Hall University and worked as an English Teacher at St. Nicholas in Jersey City, Central Catholic High School in Reading, PA, Immaculata High School in Mendham, and Bishop Hoban in Wilkes-Barre. She also served as a Guidance Counselor at Morris Catholic High School in Denville, NJ. Sr. Mariella was predeceased by her 2 sisters Lottie and Bea and two brothers George and Eli. Survivors include her two sisters in law and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9am until 11am at the Chapel of Mary Immaculate at the Sisters of Christian Charity, 350 Bernardsville Rd., Mendham. Funeral Mass 11am Saturday in the Chapel.
