Nicholas deRienzo died on Dec 11, 2009 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. He was 74. He lived in the Morristown and New Vernon his entire life. He was a graduate of Morristown High School and Boston University. Mr. deRienzo was a Corporate Real Estate Broker in New York City for many years before he retired. He volunteered for and supported the Seeing Eye and was member of the Morris County Republican Club. He was also a member of the Friends of the Morris Museum. His beloved dog Swithin died in 2004. His family will remember him as a dedicated , loving and caring brother and uncle who will be sorely missed. Survivors include one brother Louis deRienzo of Sag Harbor, NY, and two sisters Gloria Quenault of Hopatcong, NJ and Josephine Canney of Bowie, MD. He is also survived by many nieces, one nephew along with many grand-nieces. Visitation will be held on Thursday Dec 17, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Bailey Funeral Home 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham. A Memorial Mass will be held in the Spring of 2010 at the Sisters of Christian Charity in Mendham. Interment will be private.
