Obituary of Mary Adamek

Mary A. Adamek Mother, AT&T Retiree, 87 MENDHAM - Mary A. Adamek died on Tuesday December 8, 2009 at Holly Manor Center in Mendham. She was 87. Born in Bethlehem PA to the late Peter and Mary (Varga) Kuplen on July 11, 1922, she was a resident of Belleville before moving to Mendham. Ms. Adamek was a long line operator for A T & T in Belleville for nineteen years before her retirement in 1989. She was previously employed by General Instrument in Newark for many years. Mary was an outgoing and caring woman, who was loved by all who knew her. She will be sadly missed. Her son Tedd Adamek predeceased her in 2008. Survivors include her son Robert Sherlock and his wife Susan of Basking Ridge; her sister Helen Kospiah of Bethlehem PA; a niece and a nephew.
