Obituary of Joan Marie Mezzacapo

WHARTON - Joan Dillon Mezzacapo died on Monday, Dec 7, 2009, at home. She was 83. Born in the Bronx, N.Y., she lived in White Plains, N.Y., Randolph, Mendham and Navarre, Fla., before moving to Wharton. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Good Counsel College in White Plains, NY. She was a homemaker and an active volunteer in the community. She was past president of the Woman's Association of Morristown Memorial Hospital. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years, Theodore J. Mezzacapo in 2006. She is survived by her beloved children and their spouses, Michael and his wife, Gail of Wharton, Joanne Sappio of Green Township, Patrice and her husband Larry of Randolph, Greg and his wife, Barbara of Springfield, Janice Terna and her husband, Bob of Frisco, TX, Gary and his wife, Margi of Randolph, Douglas and his spouse, Scott of San Francisco, CA, Stephen and his wife, Linda of Woodstock, GA and Erik and his wife, Jody of Evans, GA; her cherished grandchildren Justin, Lisa (Mark), Matthew, T.J., Gregory, Nicole, Laura, Daniel, Casey, Jake, Matthew, Colin, Nick, Julia, Jack and Emma; and her great grandchildren, Mason and Jacob. Interment will follow in Mendham Hilltop Cemetery.
